Christmas
Christmas in italy is what you'd expect. It's Jesus' birthday. People mainly celebrate this holiday to recieve gifts, however religious enthusiasts will also take time to talk about him and commemorate him turning 34 again. Regardless of your belief, christmas in italy will be a fun one. Pizza all around! Lasagna until you burst! All sorts of fun stuff. It may not be mardi gra in new orleans, but it's as close as italy can get.
Since this is italy, the gifts traded/given should be obvious. pizza, pasta, and all the other endless italian foods. also cars. expensive cars. they have the perfect racing rich car, the lambo. they want you to drive it like you stole it, and the cops even let you. especially if they're also drunk off of spiked pizza.
and like every other country worth its weight in silver, you have the usual decorations. this includes the trees, the red and white and green (the flag is perfect at this), and much more. i've included a pic of an awesome lively tree to the right.
